Ever wonder what the Olympic sport of diving is all about? Well we have an offer for you! On Saturday February 23 from 10am to 12, come learn a bit about this fascinating sport. Head coach Jason Napper, former Commonwealth Games champion and Junior National team coach, will be conducting a 2 hour introduction to diving! This is for children ages 6 to 14, and no experience is needed!
Learn basic positions, try our dryland training equipment, and then have some fun in the water! Participants need to pre-register by sending the child’s name and age to . Participants need to be wearing t-shirt and shorts over their swimsuit for the dryland portion. Participants need to be able to swim, and pass the swim test at the Canada Games Complex. A waiver will be signed prior to beginning, so please arrive a few minutes before 10.

The Thunder Bay Diving Club (TBDC) is a not-for-profit organization promoting physical fitness and the sport of diving to the Thunder Bay community since 1982. TBDC offers programs for children of all ages and abilities; from 5 years of age to senior national athletes.
